MISSION

We are seeking an experienced Process Improvement Specialist who will work closely with the Marketing Department leaders and process owners in helping ensure the efficiency of our Marketing operations and support the implementation of process changes or improvements as needed. The Process Improvement Specialist takes the lead in campaigning for and running the company's existing continuous improvement program, which includes monitoring a database of process improvement projects and working with various stakeholders and the project leads appointed by the Marketing Director to ensure project deliverables are completed based on agreed timelines.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the evaluation of existing business processes
  • Map current and future state processes
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely project completion
  • Assist with conducting process gap analyses with subject matter experts under the guidance and direction of the Marketing Director
  • Coordinate with the Documentation Specialist who will develop or update process documents based on processes agreed and finalized by the Marketing Director
  • Capture key discussion and action points in process improvement-related meetings and translate them into a document that may be used as a reference for revising or finalizing processes.
  • Assist with process-specific training sessions, as needed or as requested by the Marketing Director or the Training & Engagement Lead
  • Process Modelling/Mapping: Conduct process gap analysis through the use of process modelling or process mapping exercise and work closely with the Marketing Director and Marketing process owners in finalizing process maps which will need to be provided to the Documentation Specialist who will convert them into official workflows, quick guides and process manuals, as needed.
  • Project Management: Develop process improvement project plans and monitor their completion. This includes conducting meetings with stakeholders, sending minutes of the meeting documents and maintaining a central repository of project-related documents in an organized and creative fashion.
  • Program Management: Run and campaign for the company’s continuous improvement program based on Kaizen principles.
  • Research: Conduct research online and interview stakeholders regarding information that would aid in recommending e-commerce marketing improvements.
  • Communicate and Collaborate: Keep stakeholders informed of running improvement projects, collaborate with stakeholders through meetings, emails and chats to fully capture information or input that will enable effective development of improvement recommendations.

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST/DST | Monday to Friday

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid background in designing and improving e-commerce digital marketing processes
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in e-commerce marketing operations
  • 3 to 5 years’ project management or coordination experience
  • With excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Practical experience in process gap analysis, process modelling/mapping and root-cause analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or any similar discipline
  • Highly analytical and can work independently or with very minimal supervision
  • BS degree in any field
  • Windows Operating System 8 or higher
  • Wired DSL Internet connection with 5 MBPS 
  • Backup for power outages and internet interruptions
